(1)  2004年2月17日，夏普微電子公司基于ARM922T內(nèi)核的32位系統(tǒng)芯片LH7A404開始批量生產(chǎn)。

(2)  皇家飛利浦電子公司為其流行的基于ARM7的LPC2000系列高性能微控制器推出了9款新器件。

(3)  2004年3月24日，Oki半導(dǎo)體公司增加了新的基于ARM946E-S的Uplat946開發(fā)平臺。

(4)  2004年4月7日，ADI公司發(fā)布了基于RM7內(nèi)核的嵌入式單芯片可編程精密微控制器ADμC702x。

(5)  2004年4月12日，意法半導(dǎo)體公司推出一系列基于ARM7 Thumb內(nèi)核的32位微控制器。

(6)  2004年5月，Cirrus Logic發(fā)布了ARM9嵌入式處理器系列的最新成員EP9302。

2．2004年上半年，飛思卡爾半導(dǎo)體公司從摩托羅拉分立，集中發(fā)展半導(dǎo)體業(yè)務(wù)。

3. 2004年2月27日，Microchip宣布售出第30億顆PICmicro單片機(jī)。

4. 2004年6月29日，瑞薩科技公司在中國成立綜合管理公司。

5．2003年下半年，北京中星微電子公司的“星光多媒體芯片”占領(lǐng)國際PC圖像輸入芯片市場40%以上份額。

6．2004年4月27日，上海展訊通信有限公司生產(chǎn)出我國第一顆擁有自主知識產(chǎn)權(quán)的手機(jī)芯片。

7．“中國芯”在市場化與產(chǎn)品研發(fā)方面再獲突破：
（1）   2004年上半年，蘇州國芯公司成為國內(nèi)不靠政府投資而能贏利的微處理器公司之一。
（2） 2004年3月，方舟科技公司與美國慧智公司結(jié)為戰(zhàn)略聯(lián)盟，標(biāo)志“方舟”嵌入式微處理器
開始打入國際市場。
（3） 2003年底，“北大眾志-863CPU系統(tǒng)芯片”大規(guī)模量化生產(chǎn)和完全市場化。
（4） 2004年上半年，神州龍芯公司推出高性能的“龍芯1號”和“龍芯2號”CPU。
（5） 2004年3月上旬，清華大學(xué)研制出擁有自主知識產(chǎn)權(quán)的CPU THUMP，最高主頻500MHz。
（6） 上海交通大學(xué)相繼研制成功“漢芯二號”、“漢芯三號”DSP芯片。
